2017 Calgary Business Hall of Fame Induction – Bill Yuill

Scores of business, government, and community leaders gathered at the Calgary Hyatt Regency Hotel on Thursday to honour the lifetime achievements of southern Alberta’s most distinguished citizens. Bill Yuill was one of the four businessmen inducted into the prestigious club on Friday night. The Calgary Business Hall of Fame was established by JA Southern Alberta in 2004. Inductees are nominated by their peers and selected by an independent committee. Its inductees have helped shape the province through their business success, entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic contributions. This year’s laureates include:

“This is pretty special,” said Yuill. “This recognizes business leaders in southern Alberta, including Calgary, of course. To be nominated is a pretty special deal.” Bill Yuill is now a part of the 47 Laureates that make up the Calgary Business Hall of Fame.
